This time period is required to allow the artist to create as precise a painting as possible. We can provide a photographic proof of the painting when it is near completion so that if necessary, changes can be made before we stretch and mount it.

Q5 : Do you offer custom acrylic, charcoal, pencil, pastel or watercolor artwork?
No, currently we only offer oil paintings.

Q6 : Will the painting look exactly like the photo?
All our painters are very skilled and experienced, and they will do their best to create a painting as close to the original as possible. If the original photo is low resolution or small, please provide us with addition reference photos. Please see the images above for samples of past reproductions.

Q7 : I like a painting/photo/artwork by a certain artist. Can I get it reproduced if I send you a photo?
To be able to reproduce artwork by another artist you have to make sure that (1) you have consent by the artist to reproduce it, (2) you have copyright ownership of it, or (3) the artist has been dead for over 75 years.

For classic paintings (by Van Gogh, Monet, etc.), there are no copyright laws and they are considered public domain as long as the reproducers do not claim that their work is the original. Paintings that fall into this category can be reproduced by us.
